Page 1 of 3: DVD to WMV Using Magic DVD Ripper
This guide starts off assuming you already have the files ripped to your hard drive, in "File" mode.
Go ahead and start up Magic DVD Ripper. In the "Source" box click the down arrow then click "From hard disk..." (red). Navigate to where the files are on your hard drive and load them (blue). [Screen Shot Below]

Now after you load your files, the "Input" section (green) will already be filled out for you. Unless you don't want the main movie, don't change it. Now for the "Output" section, we need to change the "Type" to "Windows Media Video (WMV)" (purple). I recommend leaving the "Split Mode" to "Infinite". You can name the file anything you want (gold). Now I already chose my destination directory but, I'll do it again just to show you how. Click the folder at the end of the "Destination" box (red). After you do that, the "Browse for Folder" screen will come up where you need to pick a folder for Magic DVD Ripper to save the WMV file it will create (blue). [Screen Shot Below]

Now at the top, click "Options", then "Settings" (green). [Screen Shot Below]

The "Settings" window will now pop up. Make sure you are on the "Convert" tab (red). The only thing you might want to change here is at the very bottom. Depending on what you are making the WMV file for, will be the deciding factor in which profile you choose. Click the "Down Arrow" (blue) to look at all the different profiles to choose from. ***I can't really recommend one cause everyone's goals are different*** [Screen Shot Below]

After clicking ok on the previous screen, it will now bring you back to the main Magic DVD Ripper screen. Your done with all the settings etc., so go ahead and click the "Start" button (green). [Screen Shot Below]

When its finished, this screen will come up in the middle (purple). [Screen Shot Below]
