In this guide I will show you how to rip a DVD and convert it to a .MP4 file for your PSP Using Magic DVD Ripper.
If you don't have Magic DVD Ripper, you can get it here.
Start up Magic DVD Ripper. Put your DVD in the drive then select that drive in Magic DVD Ripper as your "Source" (red). Magic DVD Ripper will automatically pick the correct drive for you if there is only one DVD in your drive(s). If your files are on your hard drive, click "From hard disk...". [Screen Shot Below]

Now click the "Convert" tab, if its not already selected (blue). [Screen Shot Below]

Now select which title you want to convert (green). Magic DVD Ripper will automatically select the longest running title which is typically the main movie (purple). ***Go ahead and change the "Subtitle" and "Audio" if you want. Just remember the AC3 2ch audio stream, is most of the time the audio for the "Extras" or "Directors Commentaries" *** [Screen Shot Below]

Now we need to tell Magic DVD Ripper where to save the .MP4 file it will create. Click the "Browse" button in the "Destination" box (lime green) and pick a destination folder (gold), preferably a new folder with no files in it. [Screen Shot Below]

Now we need to set the "Output" type. Which of course is for our PSP, so click the down arrow at the end of the box, and select "PSP" (yellow). [Screen Shot Below]

Ok, almost done with the settings. Now its time to change some settings in Magic DVD Ripper so that the file it creates will be compatible with your model PSP. So click "Options" on the main screen, then click "Setting...". After that the "Settings" screen will pop up over the top of the main screen. Change the settings to the specs your PSP will accept (pink). [Screen Shot Below]
